DIFFERENT SPECIES,
SAME PAIN
Animals are not objects that belong to us — They are living things deserving of life, just like us. During this campaign, we will show that animal abuse can be avoided if we are more conscious about speciesism.

INSIGHT
Animals are put in situations in which if lived by humans,
it wouldn’t be legal.
People, most of the time, don’t feel empathy towards animals that they aren’t attached to emotionally. How can we make people care about their stories as much as they would if the victim was a person?
Why is it okay for them and
not for
us?
Childhood stories
“If I had a wish, it would be that
my kids
have the freedom I never had..”
The happiest and saddest day of my life was when I became a mother. Even though my babies didn’t come from a loving environment but from relationships without my consent when you bring life to this world, you only want to protect it and nurture it with love.
However, in my reality that is not possible. Every day I’m more hopeless. If I had a wish, it would be that my kids have the freedom I never had.

I grew up in an orphanage with many kids… we didn’t have much space, food, or a bed. One night, the adults separated us by gender, sending us to different cabins.
We never saw the boys again… There’s a rumor that the adults killed them because they were useless to them. Shortly after that, I remember one of the adults took me by the neck and cut my lips… I couldn't eat for weeks. Some of my friends died because of this, their lips hurt so bad they couldn’t eat at all. I thought I was lucky because I survived… If I would have known then the future I had in front of me, I should have died there.

“Some of my roommates
passed away
due to the amount of stress ..”
My mother passed away when I was very young and I never met my father, so life hasn’t been that easy for me. I currently live in a small place with roommates.
The owners come by very often. Some nights I feel they drug me to do things with my body. Every day they forced me to work for long hours, it’s very exhausting… Some of my roommates passed away due to the amount of stress. The girls get drugged so they can rape them… Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if things were different… but I can’t allow myself to dream.
